Task Force Games, a board and roleplaying game publisher, jumped into microgames back in 1981.  They ended up publishing about 28 of them, including the mega-monster Star Fleet Battles, the very respectable Starfire, and some one shots that were pretty great, such as Intruder, Robots, and Battlewagon.  TFG never got the same "respect" that Metagaming did, but they had a pretty decent body of work and they never were afraid to take chances.  Here are some gameboxes/gamefiles for playing some TFG games.  I hope to add to this collection as I have the time... hah!
